I'm just as surprised as you are

Okay, so I've really always had this thing against blogs. I just couldn't get my head around why people feel the need to tell the entire world every feeling they've ever had. But recently, I've had a lot of time on my hands (damn you new job with no work!). To fill up the time, I surfed the internet, followed link after link, and found myself re-visiting the wide world of blogging. I discovered that now that I am older, and most of the people I know are older, it's fun to read about everyone's lives and how they are changing. It also makes me feel better to know that other people are going through the same issues I am. It's hard to adjust to adult-hood. I guess I got spoiled at my old job where I had someone who quickly became a good friend to talk to everyday, all day. Now that we have both moved on from that job, I realize how much I appreciated and needed the outlet of expressing frustrations and celebrating accomplishments and everything else that happens in life. So, I guess that this is my attempt at appeasing that part of me that needs to talk about myself everyday. And maybe at the same time I will inspire other friends to create their own blog so that I can stay in touch with them better. Because as much as I am a talker, I hate to talk on the phone. And that coupled with friends who live far and wide doesn't allow me to stay in touch as much as I would like to, unfortunately. Well, that's all for now, but I assure you that there is more to come.
