I don't think an email response it too much to ask for

Please excuse me while I vent for a minute.

I love how everytime something goes wrong with my computer at work, the 2 men that I work with don't believe that there is actually a problem. They think it's me. This has happened several times in the past month or so. Today something wouldn't print, when I had been printing all morning. I mentioned it and he said, well it should print pretty quickly and then just stood there like he didn't believe me. To make a long story short, I called tech support and the entire program had been installed incorrectly and they had to do a complete re-install. Humph! I am a pretty smart person. And just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I don't know anything about computers. In fact, I know a lot about them and if you ask anyone that I used to work with, I was GREAT with computers. So THERE!! Okay, I feel better now.

This weekend went by way too quickly. We were pretty productive though. On Saturday we finally got our passport pictures taken. My original plan was to send mine off in November. Yes, it is now February. I'm kind of nervous about getting it in time. (I still haven't sent it in yet) We went to Walgreens to take the pictures and it was hilarious. When we told the guy we were there for passport pictures, he said okay and pulled out a camera, walked to the middle of the store, and pulled down a white screen. I immediately burst our laughing. I could do this at home! So there Lee and I are standing in the middle of Walgreens getting our pictures taken by a young man who was VERY enthusiastic about his job.

After the photo session we went to pick out the tuxes for the men in the wedding. We ended up having to get way more than I originally counted. And they cost more than I tough they would. Which is fine, just not as planned. Who knew that it was so difficult to pick out a vest and a tie? Geez, I could have stood there for hours. I'm still not sure about the decision we made. It took less time for me to find my wedding dress! But it was good to get that taken care of so that we don't have to worry about it anymore.

I cleaned the house on Sunday and we went to my parents' to hang out and watch the superbowl. While we were there, I finished up our taxes (!) and then I spent my time going through old pictures. Originally I got the out to find some for our slide show at the wedding, but then ended up scanning a bunch to put on facebook. It was fun to look at them. Oh, and we ate too much. Waaaay to much!!

I am going to rant about something else. I knew who I wanted our photographer to be even before we got engaged. Well, technically, she was my second choice, but only because my first choice was WAY out of the price range. She was great when we first met with her. But I have come to realize that she has an issue with getting back to people, whether it be through email or phone. I just think that is absolutely ridiculous. If you provide a client based service, then you sure as hell better be available for your clients. I emailed her last week and asked her a couple of questions. I still have not heard from her. This is far from the first time this has happened. I wanted to say something to her, but she is going to be taking my wedding pics. so I never did. I am seriously considering changing photogs. I know that it's kind of late in the game, but I can't handle this! We would lose our deposit, but I don't know how much I care about that. She has already taken out engagement pics so it's not like it would be a total waste of money. Ugh. I am going to start looking at other options today or tomorrow.
