Apparently I am terrible at typing/spelling
Oh April. Good riddance to you!! I swear that this has been the month from hell. And it isn't going out easy either. This morning the wind was so violent that it completely ripped apart my "wind-proof" umbrella. That baby is no joke and I couldn't believe it happened! (p.s. thank you old man for passing by my obvious fight with said wind and umbrella, at 6am nonetheless, and simply saying "it's not a good day for umbrellas." THANK YOU.)
So tomorrow is the first day of May and I am starting it off with a good attitude. Something I haven't had in a while! May is going to be a good month! Things I'm looking forward to:
- Mary's graduation!
- Lee's bachelor party (mostly because i get alone/girl time!)
- Cake tasting!!! Yummy!
- Kansas City (Mary and I need a small getaway for a kind of bachelorette redo, don't ask)
- My dad is retiring! I will take advantage of his free time for wedding errands and tasks :)
- Household projects
- Memorial Day!
- United Way stuff is kicking off at work - yay for making new contacts in different depts ;)
- Getting my dress fitted and bustled :)
- One month closer to the wedding!
Work has been, well...okay lately. Which is better than usual. I have decided that I just don't care anymore. If someone wants to do all of my work, then they can! I get paid a lot of money to sit around all day. And I'm certainly not going to pretend to kiss anyone's ass. They clearly don't care if I'm happy so why should I try so hard.
I am super excited for this day to be over. We're having a happy hour after work and it is MUCH needed! I'm going to get to see lots of people I haven't seen in forever so it'll be fun to catch up!

YAY.FOR.MAY. I so agree! Eric emailed me today and said "Hey, June 20th, my friend is getting married.. Are you free?" I was like "NO! I am NOT free and neither are you!" hahaha.. I think I scared him. But, we can totally make both anyway.. haha.. And why oh why were you out and about at 6am?! No fun. No fun at all!
