Please meet Zoe

She is a murderer.

So, last night Lee and I were hanging out in the living room. The door to the backyard was open because it was nice out and the girls like to run in and out. So we're watching Survivor. I'm sitting on the couch and look down and see Zoe laying down on the rug, paws straight out in front, like a lady. :) It was really cute. They never lay on the floor, usually on the couch. So I mentioned it to Lee and he looked over and then I looked around her. I saw her stuffed squirrel right in front of her and then, right next to her....a dead baby bunny. It took a minute to register because she has lots of stuffed animal toys, but when it did I screamed my head off and stood up on the couch. Lee was very calm and got a plastic bag and got rid of the body. :( I was, and still sort of am, extremely disturbed. We're not sure if she killed it, but I sort of think that she did. It was small enough. She LOVES to chase the rabbits in our backyard and we get on to her for it. Usually they get away but this one was just a little baby. Lee and I have often joked around about what we would do if she ever brought a dead rabbit or squirrel to the back door. When she plays with her toys, she gets them in her mouth and shakes them around REALLY hard. She could have easily done that with this baby. ( :( ) It was about the same size of her squirrel. I told Lee no more toys that look like animals. I can still see the little beady eyes and the ears of the baby bunny when I think about it. I may need counseling.

Yesterday was fun because we had a conference that was out of the office and we were dismissed at 2:30 so I had lots of time to do whatever I wanted! I mistakenly went to the mall. I did some major damage. Especially at Ann Taylor Loft. I never even shop there! I am so happy that it's Friday and I hope that the day goes by really fast!
