PSA

Here is a little Public Service Announcement courtesy of my morning drive:

When driving on the highway, the far right lane is NOT for travelling, it is for entering and exiting. If you must travel in this lane, then you need to either speed up or slow down for those merging onto the highway. Every morning, I merge onto the BA from my little neighborhood on-ramp which has about a 3-car-length merge lane. I refuse to stop my car when trying to merge onto the highway, it's just too dangerous. Everyday I care less and less if I'm going to hit someone travelling in my merge lane. Move it or lose it people because I will get into your lane one way or another!!

I am currently on hold with Southwest Airlines. Have been for...14.20 minutes. My approx. hold time was more than 10 minutes. I do not care. Lee has been trying to book his flight for Vegas for his bachelor party. This weekend he finally found a reasonably priced flight online and Southwest told him that there was an error and they couldn't complete the transaction. It happened more than once. And 3 times this morning. We tried his card, my card, my bank card, everything. I suspect that the "unusually high call volume" the voice on the phone spoke of is due to this internet problem. RI.DIC.U.LOUS.

I worked out yesterday after work. I probably shouldn't have given my ambiguous disease, but I have a wedding in 70ish days! I usually take a spin class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6, but I could NOT get up this morning. I don't think I'm going to be making it to the morning sessions for a little while! That's okay, there are lots of sessions during lunch time so I'm just going to have to adjust my schedule.

I am happy because on Thursday we have a "conference" that is from 9-3 and we don't have to go to work before or after! Yippee!

Just so you know, I'm finished with my phone call. 30 minutes people. On the phone. To book a flight. Lovely.

haha.. I like it how it becomes a game like "No, I wont hang up NOW b/c that's what you people want! Ha!" (at least thats how I think). I agree about the highway. If someone cant get over, I dont glare at them. However, if they're just driving along, blocking people trying to merge, I lose it a little in my head for .5 seconds. I need to get motivated. I wish we went to the same gym. I'm beginning to think I need a "buddy" to keep me accountable. haha..

Ooh! For wedding makeup, I'd definitely recommend Bobbi Brown or Laura Mercier. I love how fresh and pretty I've felt the two times I've had Laura Mercier do mine. And Bobbi is so classic looking, too. Test run with both at Saks! :)
