Not Me Monday!
I have seen so many people doing this Not Me Monday thing, and I'm finally doing it myself! If you like mine, go on over to MckMama's blog to read more!
When I went out to dinner with Melissa on Friday night, I did not eat a sopapilla for dessert. That would not be in line with my weight loss goals.
Melissa and I did not proceed to stop at QT on the way to see My Sister's Keeper even though I was way too full after not having had the sopapilla.
I did not cry from beginning to end of the movie, despite not being disappointed that they left the majority of the story out and totally changed the ending. (ugh, WHY do I go see movies based on books I love???!!)
I did not rant to Lee about the differences between the book and movie for 30 minutes while he was trying to sleep.
On Saturday, I did not do nothing while Lee mowed the lawn and went to change his oil.
Lee and I did not get into huge arguments slight disagreements about how to build the bookcases that will go in our living room. I did not get so frustrated that I walked out of Lowes and waited by the car. No, I would never do such an immature thing like that.
I did not take a 2 hour nap when we got home from Lowe's.
We did not eat ice cream and drink a bottle of wine and watch The Holiday on Saturday night. I did not cry during that movie too. I also did not crush up oreo cookies and put them on my ice cream. It was not delicious.
On Sunday I did not stay in the house the entire day.
I did not rip out the 8 foot long scrapbooking table that we just build and installed less than one year ago.
I am not telling everyone that I am sacrificing my scrapbooking room for Lee's man room.
I am not, in reality, happily giving it up so that I don't have to watch sports every waking hour.
I am not working on a new blog and layout for my married self.
I am not excited about the household projects that we are currently tackling. And I will not be posting tons of before and after pictures when we are finally done!
