Vomit
That pretty much sums up my weekend. Well, my Sunday at the very least.
On Saturday, we went to Lawton, which means that we need my parents to watch the precious baby girls. But my dad was sick and throwing up. Boo. My mom said that they would still watch them. Yay.
The trip to Lawton was very successful and much needed. We met with the pastor and discussed stuff like why Lee and I love each other :) I am by no means mushy gooshy lovey or anything like that, so it was a little difficult for me to talk about stuff like that. But it was fun to hear what Lee said about me, and I'm sure he enjoyed hearing my thoughts, especially when I don't tell him stuff like that as often as I should.
Then we went to register at this store there. Even though we registered at Dillards specifically because there is one in Lawton, for some reason, EVERYONE was like, "why aren't you registered at Easton's?" Sooo, we went to register at "Easton's" aka, Ace Hardware! LOL. They did have more stuff than a normal Ace Hardware, but it was still funny to both of us. And instead of getting the fun scanner gun thingy, the lady followed us around with a piece of paper and wrote everything down! Oh man, it was an event.
We came home Saturday night and picked up the girls and headed home. Sunday morning I woke up to Zoe throwing up in the bed. At 6am. Lovely. Then Lee went to play golf and Zoe wanted me to hold her every second. She must have felt bad :( She wanted me to hold her when I read the paper, folded laundry, put away groceries, you name it. Then, when I was making dinner, Isabelle started throwing up. I saw it the first time, but then when I walked into the living room after cooking for a couple of minutes, she had thrown up on one couch, on the floor, on the rug, and was about to throw up on the other couch. Later I also found out that she had thrown up on the bed. Then a few hours later she repeated the process. We gave her some Pepto Bismol, which she hated but seemed to help. Until 1am when she threw up in the bed. Sheesh! I think she is feeling better today, she woke up wagging her tail and wanting breakfast. I was worried though. The only time she has thrown up that much was when she chewed on a mouse full of poison. Anywho, our house smelled like vomit pretty much all of Sunday night. It was gross. I think it's cleared up today. I can only imagine what it will be like when we have children and they get sick like that :( I am not looking forward to that.
Sorry. Enough about vomit. Despite all of that, we had a good weekend, and I hope that this week goes by fast!
